چکیده
Abstract The fundamental operation in binder jet three-dimensional printing is the deposition of liquid into a powder layer to selectively bond particles together. Upon droplet impact, spreads bed forming bound network wetted called primitive. A computational fluid dynamics framework proposed directly simulate capillary and hydrodynamic effects interfacial flow that responsible for primitive formation. model uses volume-of-fluid method capturing dynamic binder-air interfaces, immersed boundary adopted include particle geometries on numerical Cartesian grids. Three-phase contact angles are prescribed through an interface extension algorithm. Binder impact beds varying angle simulated. Furthermore, used bridges connecting binary ternary systems, resulting forces validated by comparison with published experimental theoretical results.

The development of the microscope in 1590 by Zacharias Janssenby and Hans Lippershey gave the world a new way of visualizing details of morphogenesis and development. More recent improvements in this technology including confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical projection tomography (OPT) have enhanced the quality of the resultant image. These technologies also allow ...
متن کاملThree-dimensional modeling of transport phenomena in a planar anode-supported solid oxide fuel cell
In this article three dimensional modeling of a planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) was investigated. The main objective was to attain the optimized cell operation. SOFC operation simulation involves a large number of parameters, complicated equations, (mostly partial differential equations), and a sophisticated simulation technique; hence, a finite element method (FEM) multiphysics approach ...

1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate ([C2C1Im][OAc]) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate ([C4C1Im][OAc]) have been used as solvents for the dissolution and ink-jet printing of cellulose from 1.0 to 4.8 wt%, mixed with the co-solvents 1-butanol and DMSO. 1-Butanol and DMSO were used as rheological modifiers to ensure consistent printing, with DMSO in the range of 41-47 wt% producing samples w...
متن کاملHierarchical patterns of three-dimensional block-copolymer films formed by electrohydrodynamic jet printing and self-assembly.
Self-assembly of block-copolymers provides a route to the fabrication of small (size, <50 nm) and dense (pitch, <100 nm) features with an accuracy that approaches even the demanding specifications for nanomanufacturing set by the semiconductor industry. A key requirement for practical applications, however, is a rapid, high-resolution method for patterning block-copolymers with different molecu...
